Drok's to Marhan's in 6:06.43 (TAS, Solo)
Thanks Smiiles for getting the running records going

Decently lucky spawns throughout, and really lucky HSRs on shadow steps.
First post here, let me know if I'm missing anything.

This is a great run. Fantastic use of minipet for constant vipers/hos, however. There is a reason for Vipers before HoS, as Vipers does not have an aftercast much like HoS does. So you can cast HoS almost instantly after Vipers. Not saying it's faster but it leads to much more cleaner movement and in result is faster.
The other thing I want to note is why only to Marhan's Grotto. Why not add Granite Citadel?

I don't think this is true. There's 0 difference between hos > viper or viper > hos
In fact I dont think both those spells have any aftercast delay at all. And if they did why would they be different, they're essentially the same spell just with different effects. Queuing up spells after either of them is buttery smooth just like with ee.
Only noticeable aftercast is dc/dp.

Wasn't aware, will try Viper's > HoS. There's a few other things in this run too that I think can be improved so that 5:5x is possible.
The way I learned it, there are three runs in the Southern Shiverpeaks (all of the runs people ask for fall into one of these three):
1) Beacon's > Rankor > Drok's
2) Drok's > Marhan's ("Marhan's Direct")
3) Southern Shiverpeaks Tour: Drok's > Rankor > War Camp > Granite Citadel > Copperhammer > Iron Mine > THK > Marhan's ("Marhan's Indirect") & Drok's > Ice Caves & Drok's > Port Sledge
Started with 2) because it's a quick and fun one, then probably working on 3) next.

PORT SLEDGE MENTIONED!!!!!!!!!
I'd love to see more tests about the differences, but in my personal experiences and tests I notice it. but I also have a constant 100+ ping. From watching my videos and yours, I still see a small stutter between them but it's probably minor or visual bug or I'm just boomer brained.
I'm excited to see more routes and tours get accomplished. And yes this link has kind of been my reference point
