Re: free toolbox? - discussion
Seriously this whole toolbox thing has gotten out of hand.. Who cares if you set what p cons you want to pop? Some people have no idea what toolbox actually does and think it gives you magical powers. Anyhow this game is basically dead and the meta is never changing so all records have basically been maximized so really who cares what happens?
Re: free toolbox? - discussion
POPPING (P)CONS THE WAY TOOLBOX DOES IS NOT ALLOWED BY THE RULES OF THE GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! COME ON BRO.haskhasin wrote:
popping pcons with toolbox has the same effect as a clicking macro, which is ok even in records.
I seriously don't know anymore how to make this clear to you. It doesn't fucking matter if a macro does it since it's not a macro. That's end of discussion right there. No buts saying ''yes but it does the same thing''. Toolbox popping is AGAINST THE FUCKING RULES, clear as day. Even if it were to be a macro I'm even quite sure it's not allowed.

Rules are set by the game. We cannot overrule that even if some mods state otherwise on this forum. Thats like saying bots are allowed because the community thinks it's fair. The point some of us are trying to get by is that we should play in accordance to the rules of the game. Only then you can call a record legit (not when some mod on here say it's legit because then I have news for you). How hard is it to understand that?Nika wrote:Finding. A. Solution.

Re: free toolbox? - discussion
It's not allowed by a-net, no, since it is a 3rd party tool. TexMod, UMod, or mike's timers are not allowed either, for the very same reason.
But we're not talking about game rules here, we're talking about the speed clear community rules. Go ahead and ask the mods, it has the same effect of a macro, hence its allowed.
If you really insist of using the game rules, then we should remove every single record which used texmod or mike's timer from the board... "it's a 3rd party tool"

Also, Textmod is allowed by Anet but they stated it should be used on own risk. They are not responsible if anything goes wrong. Moreover it only changes the appearence which is completely differerent to what toolbox does. Do you even brain?

Re: free toolbox? - discussion
This here has nothing to do with gamerules.
You should keep gamerules in mind so you don't get banned for things you use ingame, even tho they are alloed here.
There is no further conneciton between these 2 rules.
What we do here is discuss community rules.

Re: free toolbox? - discussion
Texmod was allowed unofficially by anet, but Mike's timer was not. And let me tell you that the timer was done in the same way as a lot of bots were done.
Aaaaanyway, you basically think that we should respect the rules imposed by anet.
I think that rules of this community should be decided by this community.
P.S.: Can you stop editing posts without indicating where/how you did it? It's quite rude, and contrary to netiquette. Thanks.
