Btw, I believe this is one of the only full area record with an intentional disconnect. I wonder if there is an additional opportunity for this with another prophecies mission that has weird NPC behaviour, or in a dungeon with rezz shrine logic you want to manipulate

Wasn't sure if your comment Bay6 was tongue-in-cheek or serious but thought I would address it in any case.
There are no specific rules around whether disconnects are either allowed or not allowed. You could make a similar argument for other commonly deployed tactics for which no previous concerns have been raised (e.g. gate-glitching - also neither specifically allowed, nor disallowed, but its a possible event in the game which bypasses limits/behaviours set by the game). Additionally, there has been precedence of disconnect runs being approved in the past.
Ultimately I do not see any concern with this tactic being utilised, nor do I think this needs to be specifically added into the rules (as otherwise, we could end up with writing a 1,000 page rule book which isn't helpful to anyone).

I am aware that it’s not against the rules, nor did my comment imply that. It was intended to open a discussion on whether it should be allowed, for which there is a clear conflict of interest here.

You could make those arguments about other glitches but there are things you can do within the game, use skills, move, gate glitch and things you can do outside the game (slow load, close the game). We have rules for slow load. A person that leaves the instance doesn’t receive credit for the mission on their account, can’t get chest, can’t really provide a full video if they aren’t there.

This conversation could have been had prior to this approval, during which time no records were on the table with a disconnect, rather than that comment…

I'll open up a proper discussion in the Guild Wars forum area - feel free to post further thoughts and vote there. This could be a huge topic and required set of changes so want the community give it proper thought.

I also plan to use this area to propose a clarification on the definition of "mission ending cutscene starting" given Nolani Academy chat.
But honestly, there seems to be a new issue every day so I want to wait until I have done a first pass of all the records in case anything else comes up that might require clarification.
