Admittedly, I just assumed that the latest UW record also had foul play involved, since the one before it did. Sorry if I assumed wrong.

I'll give Robin mod when I get the chance, and all record decisions will be up to him. Feel free to pm me if you feel Robin is doing something wrong.

For clarification though: Sending dialogues via a 3rd party program is not ok. It may seem so insignificant that it shouldn't matter, but we have to draw a line on "what hacks are allowed" somewhere.

Write a mouse macro which you manually activate so that your mouse moves and clicks pcons quick and you're fine.

Toolbox doesn't require any user input and doesn't use pcons via game interface, but rather by sending the information you used it.

for 1) we again would have the discussion between what is hacken and what not.
To me it's actually rather obvious what "hacking" (read cheating) is and what is not : any 3rd party program. this includes timer, autoclicker etc etc etc
as they all give you an advantage over a player who is not using them.

This is an endless discussion tho and the only way to put an end to it would be a vote between the options we have.

Well, a timer doesn't fall under the definition of a hack. It may inject the gfx interface into the dx9 files of guild wars, but doesn't alter the game in a way changing actions.

Edit 1:

There's actually a pretty clear definition of what a hack is and what not. Anything that gives an advantage by changing game actions is.
So, using toolbox to manually pop pcons = hack, as you don't get that action done over the gw interface. Writing a macro to double click for you, putting your mouse to your pcon and then pressing that one button = macro, no hack.

By the way, toolbox pcon use is faster than manual or automatted action in the game would allow.

Edit 2:

Another example, may sound stupid but gives an idea of what is already considered a hack. Write a bot to move your character ingame by 1 step when you press a key. As you may use that key while being on the desktop, which usually wouldn't get you anywhere, makes you move a step. Therefore it's a hack. They key part is: even if you now used that button in the game, it would still send the information third party, as opposed to user actioned in the game. So it would still be a hack.

We should evolve with the technology that we have know. Toolbox is available for everybody and is just helpfull sometimes. For example the /age macro is really usefull to know you exact time and to /age easier. I don't see how it's a cheat. Lots of ppl are using it atm so i don't see why we shouldn't use it anymore when only few ppl not playing that much are complaining about it.
If you don't want to use it fine but let the others enjoy it and that's all
