Re: Step 3: Who gets to vote + DRAFT

@Nika That what Livia said. Vague guidelines and not strict rules is what brought us into this situation in the first place. I mean sure, you can still post a record with a tool that wasnt disclosed before, but dont be upset if it doesnt get approved in standard (it would be approved in tas anyways,...

Re: Step 3: Who gets to vote + DRAFT

I think its pretty interesting that both you and Livia critizised point 1.3 - for completely different, even contrary reasons. In my eyes this shows exactly why we need this to be included. Livia would obviosuly vote "Yes" in the current wording while you would vote "No" - which is exactly how a vot...

Re: Step 3: Who gets to vote + DRAFT

@livia I would ve thought so too, but in a time of new toolbox features every few months I think we should really settle this. When minimap came out people also just started using it without worrying, because they didnt see anything harmful. We want to avoid those situations where its unclear if a t...

Re: Step 3: Who gets to vote + DRAFT

@Ether
Edited some stuff in the first post, not sure if I caught everything.

@all
Please post suggestions and feedback if you like/dont like phrasing, order, structure or other things and can come up with a better solution.

Re: Step 3: Who gets to vote + DRAFT

Good points, I ll edit those into the first post when I get home. One question to the texmod/umod thing though: Everything could be considered an advantage (slimmer UI for more visibility, spirit range, health markers, colours of enemies), so where would you draw the line? For me every texmod is the...

Re: Step 3: Who gets to vote + DRAFT

I edited the first post to cover the following draft of what a vote could look like. This is not final. Post questions and answers you think are missing and we ll probably add them. The formatting is pretty fucked since gwscr doesnt know tabs. --------------------------------------------------------...

Re: 0 min bloodstone (5men) all-time record

Ofc we will be reassessing the rules about videos beeing required from everybody, just like every other rule.

And yeah, I never said it wasnt - just that there is "reasonable doubt" you might ve wanted to disperse.

Re: 0 min bloodstone (5men) all-time record

@Nika Do you even listen to yourself? Are you really this clueless? But sure, here we go again. The elite area record rules clearly state that "3. Only for elite areas, there are 3 possible submission categories: Pure, Standard, or Tool-Assisted: Pure requires all players to not use any client modif...

Re: 0 min bloodstone (5men) all-time record

@Skunky Lets just call it reasonable doubt. @Nika ... toolbox minimap is currently allowed in the TAS category for elite areas. Nowhere else. There is no TAS category for dungeon records so far. Have you actually ever read the rules which you contributed too? You confused stuff so many times already...
