Wow, I actually missed that - thanks for pointing it out.
I ll have to reconsider how this should be listed, but for now I will only leave the 7man on the table.

What meaning does party size have in a solo area record though? Is it the faster start (in 7 men over 8 men) that makes it a different thing?

Thats why I said I need to reconsider.
Party size definitely has an influence, since this job isnt truly solo. You are quite dependent on your team - chamber needs to be completed and monument taken in time for this to be successful. I think its obvious that achieving this time in a Duo run would be more impressive than in a 7/8 man run, and the same is true for any party size difference.
Now, I do see the issues with this approach: We would like to meassure the individual performance in the run, but sadly we cant. Also, if a team decided to use 7 people to just complete the quests relevant for T2 as a group in for example age 5, that would still qualify for this category, which is not intended.
Not sure how to deal with this while staying consistent with everything else.

Whether this is done in a 3-men run or an 8 men runs doesn't change a thing. Actually, in 3 men (derv+monk+r/a) you have even faster starts than in 7 men. But we're talking 0:30 vs 0:32 vs 0:35 first spikes here. The job itself, T2, doesn't change much. Which is why I've submitted both as 7:54 T2, not as 7:54 mnts + pools done.

I have acknowledged the fact 3 times that we would ideally meassure a single players performance and that your team wouldnt matter. But its interdependent on other team members, so we cant. And even though one might argue that in this specififc circumstances the teams impact might be low, that is not a generally applicable claim. There shouldnt be specific rules to cover rare edge cases.
The concept of a "T2" is something player made and not inherent to the game. The target achieved should be defined as killing some enemies / completing quests / whatever, but not as the aribitrary concept of a job in a speedclear in a strategy that happens to be meta.
But yeah, maybe we can find a better solution.
