aww yeah, COMPETITION!!! This is why it's awesome that these missions are counted in seconds. All records should be; then more people might be motivated to push for better times.

i like it, too! thats what we wanted to achieve :)
but it wont work out for areas where the game does not give you a reliable timer. you know the discussions this would lead to for every single record :D

yeah, and I can imagine the tears if videos were required for everything, although it might have been different if that was a req from the start... oh well, we can compete with these few silly missions, and at least that brings at little bit of excitement to the game (=

We do require videos of every record though. It's been a rule for quite some time.

...and there isn't even a separate list of rules for dungeons, and you only need a screen for VQs, so it seems missions are the only records that require a video. Also, rule #4 heavily implies that the video doesn't need to show the whole run.

But usually, what is the point in recording at all if you don't record the whole run? :D If in this case (or was it one of the other threads?) were someone forgot to start recording should be no problem but I am fairly sure that this is rather the exception than the norm

well if you were duoing Thunderhead Keep (for example), the video would have to be extremely long (unless there's a way to speed up the end a lot...), so there might be technical reasons to not record the whole thing
