No good argument in favor of banning toolbox timer has been shown. Again, people can hack without displaying it. Showing toolbox timer is just being honest at this point. You could as well run the timer in a separate window that doesn't show up in the screenshot. Sure you'll look clean, yet you will still benefit from it. It's a fucking clock. It's not game breaking. All I can see is people so out of touch with the game they try to come with the stupidest reasons possible to fuck with what's left of the community.

Community trusts the timer, and it still shows normal /age with it so there's absolutely nothing that can prevent any timer record from being valid since the ingame /age is what counts.

Even if taking quests fast or not (which save 1sec)

It doesn't actually save time on the run since you only need to take 1 quest asap, and it's autoclickable anyways so doesn't fall in the "hacks" category.

You don't seem to realize there is a difference between using a macro and using a hack.
One pretends use of peripherals to the OS, resulting in action caused by a key press by you on your screen. The other one sends (false) information to the game, without any user input required.

We're talking about records, right? 14 min UW, 6 min DOA etc. ... so we're talking about seconds and not minutes. Fast Quest-Take eg. UW Escort and Restore in some milliseconds > gives u at least an advantage of a second, maybe more if the questtaker fails to take it without his brain-bot. Auto-Pcons gives u surely an advantage .. luna-fortune and full sweeted in a blink of an eye and u dont have to worry about it for the rest of your run ... GREAT SHIT! Same with auto-pop the conset. For me i found my private arrangement in casual runs when people need to use all this shit. The Border has been crossed if someone needs to use tele-hack, quest-take while reaper has agro and attribute-hack. This is (in casuals) a no-go and some of you gained the experience that i leave the run. Also hossing from a gitb and everything deadly boring shit else you can do with any 3rd party-tools is nothing more than simply cheating.
But all i counted should be banned from a record run! You can't do a record without using a 3rd party tool just by playing this game as it comes "out of the box"? Then you shouldn't do this. There is no grey-zone using any 3rd party tool which isn't allowed from anet. There is only black and white which means use it, or don't IMO!
My Statement to the last 2 14-min UW-runs: You guys did a really good job ... no joke, but u can't ignore that at least some of your group did it with toolbox. Do it again without this shit (im sure u can do!) and you can say: "we did it".

let's go back a little bit in this discussion.

some of us used pcons popper, but im pretty sure they can use their pcons also without any tools.

As noted by the rule, popping pcons is fine, as you can essentially mimic it using an autoclick macro.

so what else is wrong with our record? at this point nobody has proof of anything other than /age tool (which made our run SO much faster)

From the screens based on the /age the t4 and sos had toolbox.
The T4 had it so he might have used it to take 4h.
The sos has no practical use for any of the more controversial tools in toolbox.
There is no proof of any actual hacking so it's safe to say that your record will stand no matter what.

this is so dumb.. Not everyone can record a run without lag and you can't actually tell if a hack is being used or not.. but for real, who cares? this game sucks.. come play LoL
