Duo UW tactics

Postby Nikki » Wed Nov 30, 2016 11:19 am

Jo kidz,

since Bartosch and me don't play anymore I decided to make our duo UW tactics public.
We didn't play for a time before we startet to test and practise tactics / builds and we only testet it 2 weeks. This run was in the first week I think. As you can see it's kinda easy and I guess some guys ( Marcin ) can make even better tactics with it.

Also I have to say that I suck very hard at this run in pits and could make a lot thinks better but we decided to play safe first and get into the game again. Yeah it last only 2 weeks until we startet to play LoL again.
But yeah... since y'all still play this game maybe some guys ( Marcin ma boy ) get motivated to do some duo UW runs.
Also we had some waaaaay faster runs but I did not keep the videos and also Bartosch failed us the run every time cuz he sucks as we all know. Like 6min Vale take..

And now sit the fuck down and here we go:

Jo carlos my love, just seeing your name makes my day go from a 5/10 to a 10/10 <3
We all know Bartosch is the best. He has polish blood.

And thanks for sharing this with the community, will watch it tonight in bed, that's my evening sorted!

those tactics are far from perfect
ill may publish some videos ,when I have time, to show some improvements. After I got banned 2 or 3 months ago there are no reasons to keep them secret

Well since we did only 2 weeks runs there is no wonder there are better tactics. Feel free to shown 'em :)

since I have tons of unnamed gw videos and not that much time I wasnt able to find and upload them yet but Ill try to explain a few things here. And sorry that my post offended you - that wasnt my intention.

First of all we played honor instead of winnowing on the ranger and visage instead of ee on the mes because we had a completely different split and didnt perform duos like you did.

Restore:
We started the run with the ranger pull insta going upside after setting eoe on the right side of the quest dude( sometimes there are aggrobridges then) and doing the pull at the stairs like a mes/e-lt would do (skipping the t2 popups on the right) and did a pullthrough in that time the mes pulled the skellie and killed it with a dreamie( first pull down at like 0:40). thats the perfect timing to get the patrolling aaxtes from basement for the ranger. Pull through again (monu pop at like 1:45-1.55)

UWG/Escort/Vale:

when the last dryder is nearly down( ususally one is left with low hp) the mess runs to basement and pulls the skellie to the stairs then the dreamie comes so that he is out of range of both uwg-aaxte groups. after the dreamie started to kill the( mes uses one wastrels worry), the mess goes upstairs and tanks the basement-uwg-aaxte group so that the ranger can go to the basement and kill the keeper(and trigger the aaxte-patroll) there. Meanwhile the Mes does the centerkeeper. Mes should be like 7-10 sec faster enough time time to lose skellie aggro and place himself next to the reaper (shortly out of ranger obviously) and then directly takes escort. Escort is just like you guys did same as vale pop was- just that the mes needed to run through the skellies cause no ee. We also used cantha guards instead of a dreamy there( therefor its needed that the skellies are balled perfect to die fast). Right before valequest acception the ranger went on spot for the buggy group and completely cleans it whats very fast with cantha guards. Mes does the group next to the reaper completely (also eoe in range). After that we did the first 2 waves of the garden pull. Then the mes did the last while the ranger went for the hill group. Mes usually left vale around 10:00 and ranger at around 11:15 maybe some seconds later. The timing fits perfectly so that the Mes has done all keepers but the last and just pulls away the wastesskip so that the ranger can pass to wastes.

Wastes/Pits and Plains

Wastes as usual without stone. Mes runs the way to pits after uwg is done (resign if obsi monsters have a bad spawn or skellies decide to fuck you up). That ends up in wastes quest is done like 15sec before pits is popped. That fits perfectly again cause ranger can tele to pits right in time. Mes went toCenter, ranger set his ghost down quest take was slightly before age 20 if im right. Plains was done Ghaki-way ( almost the same you did )

Mnts/Pools

Obviously Mes popped pools and ranger mnts. We always nearly needed the same time mes was slightly faster. Then Ranger took mnts quest and directly teled pools (asian fingers are recommended here :D). There we did fast quest and directly teled back to mnts there the demon assasin needed to be between the second last and the last bend. at 50% of cases he reached the reaper and we failed. Ranger dced on it and pulled it in the group under the reaper and we killed all of them with the demon assasin if the mes had no aggro after tele. Then back to pits and than wastes. That ends up in something below 33 and age 33 at dhuum.

We always tried pillar glich so that we both can die after each other, then we used a legionnaire. But as we all know pillar glich is very hard to perform so we failed the most time. That ends up in 45 or lower if you really do no mistakes.

I dont know if the KI changes influences anything of the tactics I described pls tell me if it is so.

Im sure there can be done some improvements and Im also sure I forgot some details because its a long time since we last did runs. The aim of that strategy was that we do as much things paralell and timefitting as possible and I think we did good but im open for critic and maybe we can find out the perfekt tactic for this nevertheless me and my partner cant test things ingame anymore. Im sure there are dudes who still want to get that record or improve it.

I hope everything I wrote is understandable

Using a melee stone on pillar glitch is literally asking for a fail tbh.

@kaspar I dont want to offend you but have you ever tried it?

the only condition is that the one who gliches dhuum doesnt move every1 else can run around as he wants and the best thing of the leggionaire is that he needs nearly the same time to kill dhuum then 2 people need to fill the rest.

I dont know if the KI update has any influence on that but if so you should rather glich out of the chamber I think.

Dhuum can still swap targets even when you don't move. Use with caution.

I've had this discussion before in that comment section where I was the one advocating for legionnaire. I have a bit more conservative opinion on melee stones now though.

Also, have you done it? Dhuum can retarget pretty well. Like, imagine you've glitched dhuum on a locked chest. Even if it's solid normally, if something literally goes and starts meleeing dhuum, weird shit can happen especially after judgement casts.
I've tested stones by getting myself to dhuum with heroes but those were solo, not duo, and I'm never publishing those, it took way too much effort and time to get those videos to share.

Edited for more info and better wording.

@Treviya, your tactics made me think when we first did the tactics that we used in the recent 17. (i.e. theorical things that need a lot of rework to work in reality)
I mean, the mnts thing is 100% unreal. I'm prety sure that the few time you were able to do it (if it ever happend) was done with forcing dialog.
Also, you claim to have so many unnamed vids, but still didn't upload any.

Anyway, it seem to be big words more than anything else.
