Re: 2021 Category discussion and process to get community feedback
I’m all for removing standard and have just two categories, I’m just trying to think of a solution for all those people who say “yes but X should/should not belong here”. Re: 2021 Category discussion and process to get community feedback
Just tag submissions according to how you decide to play the game, with a unambiguous set of very simple tags: * unmodified game client -> [PURE] * modified game client, but everything is possible (albeit slower) with an unmodified client -> [TAS] * modified game client, anything allowed -> [TAS+] *...

Re: second-based records
Quick proof of concept to compare tb timer with something added in premiere pro.
The decimals in the timer at the center of screen are FRAMES, not decimals
Also the milliseconds on the timer on top right are just temporary, for this test.

Re: second-based records
some thoughts and practical problems: I am overall supportive of second-based records Minute restrictions made sense in the past, and still do for many areas and party sizes, but I agree that many (most?) other areas are unbeatable in the current system. It will still suck that players with money (b...

Re: Reworking record categories (pure, standard, tas)
My opinion: 1. Merge standard and TAS: I actually like this, because the current ruleset is terribly arbitrary. However, I expect people will complain that this basically forces people to use the "bad" stuff (e.g. targeting minipets, minimap targeting) to be competitive. 2. Renaming categories: why?...
